Michelle has once again entered the racing history books, becoming the first Victorian to win a race as both a trainer and a jockey, riding Duke of Nottingham to victory at Swan Hill on Sunday.
Owned by Michelle’s former Loreto Mandeville Hall school mates and purchased for just $10,000 as an un-raced four year old, Duke of Nottingham climbed out of maiden status with a 3/4 of a length victory.
